The location of this rental was absolutely stunning, with unbroken views and the ability to see the sunset every evening. The cleanliness of the bathroom was remarkable, and it was the shiniest I have ever seen. the rental was well-equipped with everything we needed, including wood and coal for the fireplace. The fact that the TV had Netflix, I player, and ITV player was a nice bonus.
Whilst the main bedroom was a treat to sleep in, the spare room felt a bit like a cell. The mattress on the king bed was a bit worn out, causing us to roll out the sides.

Best aspects of our stay were the breathtaking views and the spotless bathroom. The location was also ideal, with plenty of nearby attractions and the opportunity for peaceful walks. The communication with the owner was prompt and clear.
Worst aspects included the narrow approach lane, which required cautious driving. extreme weather conditions during our stay caused some issues, such as windows and doors not being fully sealed, and debris blowing into the bathroom.

Beautiful views and peaceful location. The sunsets were absolutely stunning and watching them every evening was a real treat. The cleanliness of the barn was impressive, everything was spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials and we really appreciated not having to buy any extra supplies like logs or dishwasher tabs. The fireplace was a highlight, providing plenty of warmth throughout the barn. We also loved having access to Netflix, iPlayer, and ITV player on the TV. The enclosed garden area was perfect for our dogs, they had a great time running around.
There were a few negatives during our stay. The extreme weather caused some issues with the property.

Absolutely stunning views of the surrounding countryside and a peaceful, rural location away from any main roads. The barn itself was beautifully furnished and supplied with everything we needed for our stay. We especially appreciated the provided stairgate, cot, and high chair, which made traveling with our little one much easier. The log burner was a great addition, keeping the barn warm and cozy despite the chilly weather.
While the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a couple of issues that we encountered. the mattress on the king bed was quite worn out, causing us to roll outwards towards the edges.

I recently stayed at a charming countryside retreat with a breathtaking view. The Old Spout Barn provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, ideal for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The barn itself was well-furnished and equipped with all the necessities, ensuring a comfortable stay.
Despite the extreme weather conditions during my visit, the house managed to hold up fairly well. Although a few issues arose, such as the window blowing open and rain entering under the front door, I promptly alerted the owner, who assured me that steps would be taken to address these concerns.

Lovely place to stay, especially when the weather is insane. Window kept opening, rain coming in, and debris in the bathroom, but no worries, I alerted the owner! The sofa could be comfier though.
Hot water inconsistent, short bath, but don't worry, they tried to fix it immediately!
